March paintings
March has me doing many sketches and series. I am also using more pastel and Spring like colors. My goal, is generate more story like themes in the coming of months.

This was the original sketch for the larger painting of Sombremesa. I sketched what I had on hand during the evening amongst the lovely ladies.
This was sketched on a paper plate, one evening among six female companions. I later added the original sketch to several style of works. The woman wearing a hat, is featured among many times throughout my illustrations and paintings.

I began Illustrating by making quick gestures and then painting over it and re-illustrating over the lines I find confident with. This creates a semi movement while holding the true value and shape. Pentimento: Acrylic/Ink 18x12" Newspaper print $85.00
